Internships offer students the ability to see how they might use their history degree after graduation. History majors work for museums, public and private schools, city and county government offices, law firms, investment companies, charitable organizations, and historical societies.

  • Teaching: Every year Carney, Sandoe & Associates helps match candidates with thousands of teaching positions in all primary and secondary school subjects. Teacher certification is not required; we are looking for students with an undergraduate or graduate degree in the subject they would like to teach (i.e. English, History, Math, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Spanish, etc.). At Lafayette, hosting an information session on November 13th from 7-8 pm, and conducting informational interviews on November 14th.
