Phi Alpha Theta (History Honors Society) Conference: April 27, 2019

The Alpha Xi Gamma Chapter at Dominican College in Orangeburg, New York cordially invites you to the 2019 Phi Alpha Theta New York-New Jersey Regional Conference, which will be held on Saturday, April 27 starting at 10:15 a.m. Call for Papers:  All faculty and chapter members are invited to submit paper proposals on topics of interest.  Panels currently are open and will be finalized based on paper submissions.  Possible topics include regional studies such as the United States, Europe, Latin America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.  Thematic studies in areas such as Historiography, Diplomacy, Military History, Public History, and Digital History are also welcome.  Paper proposals should be submitted as an abstract of no more than 500 words.  The deadline to submit proposals is Thursday, January 31.  All presentations must be between 15 and 30 minutes in duration.  Papers for accepted proposals should be submitted no later than Friday, March 15.

Present your research at a national conference with undergraduates from around the United States. The college funds travel and registration expenses. Apply in mid-October.
